endo the line

I am Leanne and I am 31.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis after having surgery for an anal fissure. They did an MRI scan and found I have adhesions attaching my rectum to my vagina. I had a laparoscopy to remove the adhesions.

The pain I was in prior to the operation was torture. Like hot knives in my womb and bum.

I had some pain after the operation but I changed my diet to follow the Endo diet and this helped reduce inflammation and pain.

5 years on I am starting to get the pain again more frequently and intense so I am going back to my gynaecologist to see if I need another operation.

I find the 3 most helpful tips I can give my fellow Endo sisters is connect with other people suffering with endometriosis so you do not feel so alone. Try the Endo diet as it really does reduce the pain. Try a painpod or a tens machine as this helps relax the body in a flare up.
